About Our Team
The team was created as a WhatsApp group CG-VAK and G2 Runners by our Guruji ardent Marathoner Charles Duraisingh who is also our mentor, he has created a lot of awareness about running and few guys started to train with him. Everything went well as long as he was at Coimbatore in G2.
After his departure to Chennai, people have gone back to hibernation, those who are all trained with him. It's really hard to see any activity afterward.
It took hardly a few months (5 to 6 months) to wake up from the hibernation with the loud bark from young dogs with an underdog Banuchandar, who is hardly done any physical activity before.
We renovated our team with new runners (very apt to say walkers/joggers). We were also done the default name change as "CG2 Runners" which represents CG-VAK and G2 Technologies of Coimbatore as an office running group, which includes the running enthusiast from both IT companies.
Everything went so well, we started to attend marathons in and around Coimbatore and Salem. But we were lagging at the regular practice sessions as we practice only a week or a few days before the marathons only. Then we got the much-needed enthusiasm from the young gun Dinesh Kumar, who is also our Co-Founder of the group.
Soon after our monthly challenges, regular practices, HDOR Challenges we started to get some appreciation from outside the office through social media platforms and we did the mandatory name change for our group.
We asked our team members to suggest some good names in both Tamil and English, then we decided to go with Tamil name as it's difficult to see any group with Tamil name. Our team members also don't want to restrict themselves with Running alone, they already spread their wings in multiple activities like Riding, Walking, Swimming, Hiking and so on.
Finally, we came with the common name as எண்ணித் துணிக / Ennith Thuniga (ET), it means, It can be anything, but plan well before you start. So the much-needed Victory is ours and No one can stop us from achieving our dreams. Let's all dream high and achieve high.

About Blog

We run because We can. When we get tired, we remember those who can't run,
what they would give to have this simple gift we take for granted,and we run harder for them. we know they would do the same for us.It's very hard at the beginning to understand that the whole idea is not to beat the other runners.
Eventually, we learn that the competition is against the little voice inside us that wants us to quit. That's the thing about running: your greatest runs are rarely measured by racing success. They are moments in time when running allows you to see how wonderful your life is.
This blog is to share, motive and inspire the people who wants to change their life more beautiful.
